There are many ways of avoding spam. But here are some tips:
1. Never ever give you e-mail adress away on the web on unessecary places.
2. Dont sign up on newsletter, if you dont really REALLY want to.
3. Dont answer mails that are from people you dont know.
4. Get anti spam software
5. Get anti spyware software.

On this last one here, I would like to recommend the program called Adaware
and Spybot! They are really great to get rid of spyware on your computer.
And you should also have a great and awesome antivirus software. In my opinion
Symantec`s Norton Internet Security is the best one!
